LSI Industries Launches Commercial-Grade, Modular High Bay Luminaire

Cincinnati, OH, May 19, 2020 – LSI Industries (NASDAQ: LYTS) said today that the company has launched a new commercial-grade, modular high bay (MHB) luminaire for gymnasiums, light industrial and warehousing applications.  The new fixtures are manufactured in America and compliant with the Buy American Act.

“Our MHB fixtures deliver exceptional performance to budget-minded customers operating in the commercial and industrial segments,” said Mike Prachar, Chief Marketing Officer of LSI Industries.  “This competitive product will help our valued customers optimize the illumination in their high bay work environments, enhance safety and reduce energy costs.”

The MHB is a compact, lightweight, easy to install fixture that is ideal for both wide spaces and narrow aisle high bay applications.  Individual fixtures can be factory-joined with a second MHB unit to produce outputs ranging from 12,000 to 60,000 lumens.  At 160 lumens per watt, the MHB is among the most energy-efficient high bay luminaires in its class.  In addition, the fixture is compliant with California’s Title 24 energy conservation requirements, and it is configured to meet Design Lights Consortium (DLC) premium standards – allowing customers to qualify for energy rebates.

The MHB is also compatible with LSI’s new Bluetooth sensor and configuration app for mobile devices.  When paired with the sensor, facility supervisors and others responsible for property management, can easily use their smart phones to program their lights using the LSI mobile app.  This makes it simple to set time delays and cutoff times, as well as adjust the sensitivity for motion detection and enable / disable the photocell.  In addition, the app allows users to create sensor profiles, making it easy to set up and manage multiple fixtures that share the same parameters.

MHB high bay fixtures can be mounted using standard Y-hangers, as well as optional chain, cable or single (pendant) mono-point suspension accessories.  Depending on configuration, these luminaires can be shipped within 10 business days after an order is placed.  Product specifications and data sheets are available in the products section of the company’s website at www.lsi-industries.com.
